AMAZING BOOKS that You Absolutely MUST READ
Here are GREAT books from brilliant authors that I absolutely love and highly recommend you check out. There are immersive stories ranging from “mesmerizing Sci-Fi adventures through space” to “super heroes fighting intelligent zombies” (a mashup of Avengers and The Walking Dead) to “a powerful druid who takes on everyone including Thor” to a great follow-up story to the classic Blade Runner film.
These books are presented in more or less the order in which I read them with the most recent ones that I finished at the top.

#1. Aurora by Kim Stanley Robinson
I journeyed through space to Tau Ceti. I listened in on an engineer who taught an AI how to think on its own. I lived and loved every moment.
#2. Forsaken Skies by D. Nolan Clark
If you want to ride shotgun in the cockpit of a state-of-the-art space fighter (think BSG Viper on steroids) piloted by a kick-ass pilot taking on gazillion enemy fighters, than this is the rollercoaster ride that you’ll want to be on.
#3. Tracer , Zero-G and Impact by Rob Boffard
Run with the Tracers as they try to keep a space station that holds the last of humanity from imploding.
These 3 terrific Sci-Fi books comprise the OUTER EARTH SERIES.
#4. 2312 by Kim Stanley Robinson
Move over world-building, this is about solar-system building — and what a solar system it is.
#5 Armada: A Novel by Ernest Cline
“I just lost my gorram shields because I’m already out of frakkin’ power!”
“Being forced to sit between my mortal enemy and my ex-girlfriend every afternoon made seventh-period math feel like my own private Kobayashi Maru, a brutal no-win scenario designed to test my emotional fortitude.”
“Now I feel bad, like we’re about to nuke Aquaman, or the Little Mermaid,” Diehl said. Cruz responded “Pretend they’re Gungans and that we get to nuke Jar Jar.”
If you have a big smile after reading the above quotes, then read this book so you can keep smiling.
#6. Ex-Heroes – series by Peter Clines
Think Avengers meets The Walking Dead, but even better!!!
#7. Ready Player One: A Novel by Ernest Cline
The author of Armada (#1 above), also wrote this amazing book that’s being made into a movie by Steven Spielberg (as of Feb 2016).
#8. Iron Druid Chronicles – series by Kevin Hearne
Don’t let the somewhat cheesy covers deter you. This is an awesome series as you follow a powerful and street-smart Druid take on enemies from many different worlds.
#9. FEED (NEWSFLESH, BOOK 1) by Mira Grant
New take on a fan favorite genre.
#10. Andromeda’s Fall (Legion of the Damned) – series by William C. Dietz

#13. THE EDGE OF HUMAN (BLADE RUNNER, BOOK 2) by K.W. Jeter
After reading this, it no longer bothered me that there has not been a BR2.
#14. JOSS WHEDON: THE BIOGRAPHY by Amy Pascale
Firefly, Serenity, Avengers, Buffy, Dollhouse (yeah, that Dollhouse) – he’s the man.
